 Tape dispenser concept sketch 2 out of 3, inset image shows the final product
On this project Studio Bizq was asked to come up with a few styling proposals for the Quip tape dispenser.
When styling a complex product like this it's important to let go of the underlying technology and focus on the basic user interpretation of the functions.
The result is a wedge shaped tool which looks genuine and capable.
Ergonomics were also taken into account by applying an optimal grip shape and giving the whole body a sense of direction which is useful when taping.
The engineering was done by Teklab and AMS.
