On our first encounter with DEMAKERSVAN & Fatboy, Studio Bizq engineered all aluminium bag buckles.
Any bag maker would happily buy standard plastic buckles from a few worldwide operating manufacturers.
But not DEMAKERSVAN or Fatboy!
We're glad they didn't.
The briefing was straightforward: deliver working aluminium buckles - 140+ parts in total - for presentation on the Paris fair.
The execution posed a genuine challenge considering said fair was only a good 3 weeks away.
A happy ending nonetheless, delivering the goods just in time for a photo shoot.
In a successive phase the buckles were optimized for production.
